So refreshing for you to say that each of us is responsible for our emotions and no others. I totally have been saying this for years and years. Refreshing to see it. Cheers

I loved everything about this...some of my favorite quotes! BTW, the Carl Jung quote was him, from page 247 of his book Memories, Dreams, Reflections.

I am really sorry to hear that you were vilified for writing the neutral truth. By definition this is ignorant.. Please don't ever be put off doing these 5 Big Ideas. They brighten up my days and I am sure that is true for many others.

On your parting quote, a variation of the serenity prayer has often stuck with me: "god give me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me."

The assumption is that we are not speeding through life so expediently that we don’t have time to consider the necessity of truth, faith, and uncalloused feelings in our choices. Otherwise lies and fears become bogs that trap us irredeemably.

The last quote from Carl Jung is just class.

The only 2 things you can control in your life are CHOICE and ACTION.

The funny thing is, most people don't put a lot of thought into their actions or choices... they suffer unwanted consequences later.

But at the same time, if you be all calculative and measure every action against a payoff... then you don't really live a life.

There's a fine line.

such a good point. There's indeed a fine balance

Jen Hitze /Joe-Kwame,

thank you for that one.

It is perspective what the audience has been left behind with.

Again,… walking the Tightrope of Life.

Thank you, Jen!

As this he late great Christopher Hitchens noted “I’m offended “ is not an argument or an answer to an argument. I very rarely venture forth into n social media with opinions beyond the level of “I like ice cream “ because all the village idiots out there are prepared to escalate to World War 3 mode over nothing. In addition to an extraordinary lack of talent on my part, this is a major reason I would never choose to become a writer. Keep doing what you’re doing …it’s thoughtful and interesting reading. Unfortunately getting trolled by idiots appears to be a price of doing business for a writer.

Mostly we cannot handle the truth. They stopped teaching that. People bring in justice also. The goal is remedy and a return to a Constitutional republican form of government this year 2024. Ghandi was a B.A.R. attorney, pedophile, when you look it up. Fear is an excellent motivator, leave it and move toward the goal. Feelings, 62.5 % of the population will not speak truth to the de facto. 2nd place is the first loser. Part of the whole, but to a sovereign, acting and thinking man or woman with our progeny, unalienable rights and other things like peace, safey, happiness for all of us, comes before feelings. All the pro-noun persons are big on feelings. www.orsja.org
